Being insecure is not your fault. You were raised to be insecure. In this article, I use an infographic to describe how our upbringing causes us to be insecure. I also outline 3  practices that will allow a person to grow up secure.

 

First we have to normalize insecurity. I believe it was the infamous poet and philosopher, Kanye West, that once said, “We are all self conscious, I’m just the first to admit it.”

 

It is not your fault and you are not broken. If you were raised by safe parents and if you strived in your upbringing the end result was that you are supposed to come out self conscious in some way.

 

You upbringing was supposed to teach you 3 things:

 

How to survive.

How to socialize.

How to fit in society.
